SUMMARY:Music: The Sound of Music
DESCRIPTION:The Sound of Music is a joyous and heart-warming musical set in Austria on the eve of World War II.\nIt follows the story of a young novice nun Maria\, whose free spirit has trouble fitting in with the regulations of the convent. She leaves to be a governess to seven motherless children\, while contemplating whether to commit to life as a nun. Maria transforms the von Trapp family home from a place of strict rules to one filled with joy\, laughter\, and music. In the process\, she falls in love with the children\, capturing their hearts and finding herself drawn to their widower father\, Captain von Trapp.\nWith the blessing of the Mother Abbess and to the children’s delight\, Maria follows her heart and marries the Captain. Returning home from their honeymoon\, they learn that their beloved Austria is under Nazi control\, and the Captain has been summoned to serve in the Third Reich’s navy.\nDetermined to escape the dangerous situation\, they resolve to leave Austria. DESCRIPTION:The three top Reindeer are waiting to meet you! During this 15 minute group encounter you’ll enjoy getting up close and personal with these beautiful animals and hearing all the amazing facts about them and their adventures! You’ll then get a chance to feed them some treats and make a fuss of them before you make your way back to the cozy Visitor Centre to relax and be treated to one of our specialty Hot Chocolates! For the kids there’s more to do in the Centre as we need your help to find all of our Elves that have hidden themselves away! Your 15 minute time slot booking is for the Reindeer encounter only – after that you can spend as long as you want at the Centre\, enjoying your Hot Chocolate!! Under 6s are free but must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult. Only one Hot Chocolate per ticket. (Other drinks available on request) Over 6s must have their own ticket and enter on their own if their parents/carers are not taking part.
